My approach to counseling is a collaborative one. What this means is that we will establish goals and resolutions TOGETHER. One of the best feelings that come out of therapy is the realization that you are not alone. My extensive experience and education has given me the foundation to compassionately assist you on your therapeutic journey. I will encourage you, be a support system for you, while also providing you with coping skills and strategies. At other times I will offer you perhaps a more unique, positive, and challenging way to look at things until you are able to repeat these skills for yourself. A combination of these strategies and perspectives, as well as your willingness to change and apply what you’ve learned, is exactly how change occurs.

Whether you’re seeking individual counseling or couples counseling, the steps to choosing the right counselor are very important. Please do your research and be informed.
